About

Most of my work is inherited

I started with WordPress themes and plugins in 2019 and kept moving down the stack: Laravel applications, REST integrations, then Next.js and TypeScript migrations. A lot of what lands on my desk is a codebase someone else left behind that needs to stop breaking before it can grow.

I own projects end to end - architecture, development, deployment on AWS, and ongoing support. I use AI coding agents and automation tooling to move faster, and I read every line they write.

  • Diagnosed API endpoints timing out on long-running SQL queries and served results from Redis, eliminating the timeouts.
  • Built e-commerce flows integrating credit card processors and cryptocurrency payments, including on-chain transactions via Crossmint.
  • Implemented authentication and role-based access control with Kinde across user roles and permission levels.
